Today is a day I’ve been eagerly awaiting. I have a group of good people gathering to delve into the leadership experience of Ronald Reagan and the Challenger explosion of January 1986. And herein lies the two enormous reasons for my excitement–one, the opportunity to ride the river of a fascinating historical event and, two, the chance to spend time with good people. I’m the proverbial person who can’t believe he gets paid to do what he does–and I mean that in a good way! My dad said it in other words: a blind pig finds an ear of corn. In case you can’t tell, I’m the blind pig and my calling, my ministry, is the ear of corn. I’ll report back on what happens in this morning’s Leadership Now workshop.
